Holistic Essentials

Recently I’ve been trying the Ayurveda Pura, the hand made and cruelty free skincare products made in London. The Ayurveda is the 5000 years traditional Indian health and beauty ritual, and this brand’s aim is to reach the excellence, infact most of its products are already Awards Winners. The high quality of each Ayurveda Pura skin care product comes from the use of only natural ingredients, all the products are free of artificial perfumes, parabens and petrochemicals, and are not tested on animals. All the products are thought for the different body and skin types, your skin could be Pitta, Vata or Kapha.

On the Ayurveda Pura website you can try the Ayurveda body type test and find out what is best for your skin.

I’ve always had a sensitive skin, and these are the ayurvedic products that I’ve been using lately:

Daily Replenish Face Cream: as you can see from the symbol, this cream is thought for the Pitta skin type, and for the sensitive skins, just like mine. Like all the other Ayurveda Pura products, this cream is free of chemicals, artificial perfumes and animal tests. This daily cream has a good smell of citrus that comes from the orange and the lemon in its ingredients. This cream has a different consistency then the usual face creams, it’s very dense. I have noticed that my skin has immediate benefits when I apply this cream on my face, it’s more hydrated and bright.

Daily Cleansing Milk: I absolutely love it! I have been using it every evening as part of my routine, and it’s an amazing make up remover. I’ve always had some problems with the make up removers because the products somehow used to get inside my eyes and they started to hurt. This cleansing milk is very gentle on the skin and I was so excited to see that this time a make up remover didn’t hurt my eyes.

Chyawanprash: it’s the Award Winning natural herbal food supplement, I loved how it tastes. This tonic  was made with over 30 high quality herbs and fruits, as a result it has antioxidants and re-balance effects on the body. You can eat one or two tea spoons and, at your choice, you can add it to your tea or milk.

I would like to underline that there is the Ayurveda Pura is also an Award Winning Academy, and it’s holding Yoga classes in London..
